Telangana Elections: Contestants busy with poll analysis
Nizamabad: With the polling for Telangana Legislative Assembly concluding, contesting candidates are now busy analysing poll percentage and other trends in their respective constituencies in Nizamabad and Kamareddy districts.
Major political parties – Congress, BRS and BJP – are hopeful that they will win the elections.
Contested candidates are focussing on voting patterns among minorities and sizable communities in Nizamabad Urban, Kamareddy and Bodhan towns. There are sizable voters of Andhra origin in Banswada and Bodhan assembly constituencies and their support is a hot topic among political circles.
Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, senior Congress leaders, on condition of anonymity, said that they are not only analysing poll trends, but are also busy settling accounts.
“We engaged tent houses, hotels, bars and flexi shops for the election campaign by paying an advance. Now, we are clearing all dues,” he explained.
