Puducherry: Reiterating his stance on actor Rajinikanth's decision to enter politics that everybody has the right to launch political parties in democracy, Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy said that politics and spirituality have no connection.
Rajinikanth in his speech promised 'spiritual politics', but spirituality and politics have no connection. Thus, there is no clarity in what Rajini meant, the CM said while replying to a question.
We have to wait further to know what he really meant. Anybody can enter politics in this country and Rajini is welcome too, said the Chief Minister in a press conference here.
The Congress leader said that people, including Rajini are using the confusion prevailing in AIADMK in Tamil Nadu and launching parties. The Chief Minister appreciated her for jointly working with the government and the police department to ensure law and order in place on new year's eve.
