Karimnagar: BJP national general secretary and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar, who was attending a function in Karimnagar district, on Wednesday, hit out at All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi, for “indulging in petty politics” and also “provoking” Muslim youths when the consecration ceremony of Lord Sri Ram at Ayodhya is slated for January 22.
Sanjay Kumar said that Asaduddin was trying to gain political mileage from the grand event at Ayodhya on January 22, by striking a chord with Muslim youths. The AIMIM chief was trying to create rift in society by instigating Muslim youths, he said.
Asaduddin was “inciting” Muslim youths, saying the latter — were they not feeling “sad” or “worried” about the 500-year-old area where Muslims were reciting the sacred Quran, would not belong to them, alleged Sanjay Kumar.
