Kishan Reddy failed to bring projects to TS: Jeevan
NIZAMABAD: BRS district president and legislator A. Jeevan Reddy accused Union minister G. Kishan Reddy of failing to bring in a single project to Telangana state but spitting venom at Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and his family members. He said that the Centre had enacted a drama on the pretext of Telangana Formation Day celebrations at Golconda Fort.
Speaking to reporters here on Friday, Jeevan Reddy said that Kishan Reddy should have told what the Centre had done for Telangana state in the last nine.
He said that Telangana state was not trapped in debts as alleged by Kishan Reddy but it was the Centre that was in debts to the tune of ₹80 lakh crore. As per the present budget proposals, its debts will shoot up to ₹112 lakh crore, he said.
The BRS leader said that the people are aware of whom the Narendra Modi government is favouring. It has waived off ₹12 lakh crore bank loans of businessmen, who help him, he said.
BJP leaders never played any role in the Telangana statehood movement, he alleged. Kishan Reddy should reveal police cases against BJP leaders during the separate statehood movement, he said.
Nizamabad Urban MLA Bigala Ganesh Gupta, mayor Dandu Neethu Kiran, BRS senior leaders Eega Ganga Reddy, Thakur Sujeeth Singh, Sirpa Raju and others were present.
