North Andhra's wish will be fulfilled on Dasara: Kola

VISAKHAPATNAM: The wish of people in north Andhra will be fulfilled on Dasara, declared Kola Guruvulu after taking charge as YSRC’s Vizag district president at the party’s office in Maddilapalem on Wednesday.

In the process, he indicated that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will possibly be shifting to Visakhapatnam on the festival day.

Kola said: “I am thankful to the Chief Minister for entrusting me with the responsibility of being the district president. As promised, the CM had given me the MLC ticket. But I lost the MLC election due to the conspiracy of (TDP chief N.) Chandrababu (Naidu).”

Regional coordinator of YSRC and TTD chairman Y.V. Subba Reddy was present on the occasion.

Speaking to media, he said those who believe in YSRCP will not be treated unfairly. “Kola Guruvulu is a proof for this,” he underlined.

Declaring that a fisherman can sit in Rajya Sabha during CM Jagan’s regime, Subba Reddy said the Chief Minister is giving high priority to BCs.
MLA Avanti Srinivas was present on the occasion.
