BJP Seeks Clarity on Jana Sena\'s Political Alliance in Andhra Pradesh

VIJAYAWADA: BJP national secretary Y. Satya Kumar on Tuesday asked Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan to clarify with which party he has a political alliance in Andhra Pradesh.

Satya Kumar maintained that the Bharatiya Janata Party has been under the impression that Jana Sena is continuing its alliance with the BJP.

He was asked for his response on Pawan Kalyan’s statement that Jana Sena, along with Telugu Desam Party, will win a good number of seats in the forthcoming assembly elections. Pawan Kalyan has already announced that his party has formed an alliance with the TDP.

The BJP leader responded that the political situation in AP has been changing rapidly. Their main objective was to free the people of the state from the prevailing anarchic rule. For this purpose, the BJP is trying to reach out to people and expose the anti-people policies of the ruling YSRC.

Satya Kumar assured that the BJP will fight against the state government for diverting central government funds meant for the welfare of people to other purposes.

Earlier, the BJP senior leader, along with AP BJP vice president P.V.N. Madhav and Lanka Dinakaran visited Khadi Gramodyog Emporium in the city. They said their government at the centre is continuing the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. The BJP is implementing a series of programmes, particularly for development villages.
