MK Stalin unhappy with Tamil Nadu govt's functioning
DHARMAPURI: The leader of the opposition in the Assembly and DMK treasurer, M K Stalin on Wednesday expressed his displeasure with the functioning of the present government in Tamil Nadu.
Mr Stalin, who was here to attend the marriage of a party functionary, S Thamaraiselvan, son of Dharmapuri DMK MLA, P. Subramani, criticised the AIADMK’s rule as virtually non-functional.
Referring to the Cauvery issue, Mr. Stalin recalled his demand to the AIADMK leader to take the initiative to convene an all-party meeting like Karnataka, where all political parties forgetting differences joined to fight for their interests in the river water sharing issue.
Expressing concern about the slide in the State’s industrial growth, as revealed by a new ranking by the Central government, Mr. Stalin said though the AIADMK regime conducted the global investors meet last year to bring more foreign investors to invest in the State, “no new industry has been started till now as promised by the rulers after the global investors meet.
