HYDERABAD: After casting vote in her village Idikuda in Chandur mandal immediately after voting began for the Munugude byelection, Congress candidate Palvai Sravanthi inspected close to 25 polling stations across, Choutuppal, Munugode, Ghattuppal and Samsthan Narayanpur mandals, apart from Chandur.
“I shall be touring the constituency and if there are any problems shall be brought to the notice of EC,” she said. Accordingly, she brought apprised the election authorities of information regarding distribution of money in some places. Besides, after a fake video clip of hers started circulating, she registered complaint with the police and the Election Commission.
Sravanthi helped an elderly woman whose leg had got struck in a cattle grid at the entrance of the polling station at Chandur Government High School.
