Triangular fight in 12 constituencies of Warangal
Warangal: With the announcement of their names, candidates from all three major political parties ramped up election campaigning in their respective Assembly segments here in the former Warangal district.
Except for the Station Ghanpur and Jangaon Assembly segments, where the current MLAs were replaced by the two MLCs Kadiyam Srihari and Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, the BRS filed all sitting MLAs in the combined Warangal district for the elections.
The Congress named 11 candidates except for the Dornakal Assembly segment, while the BJP named 10 candidates except for the Mulugu and Narsampet Assembly segments. Most constituencies in the former Warangal district are anticipated to see a triangular struggle in the upcoming Assembly elections.
The ruling BRS candidates are betting on the development activities and welfare schemes introduced for various sections of the people, while the Congress candidates are reaching out to the people to explain the six guarantees promised by the party, and the BJP candidates have intensified political campaigning, highlighting the failures of the BRS government and the development that has been undertaken in the country under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rule.
While the BRS's sitting MLAs work hard to retain their seats, the Congress candidates are confident that they will register a massive victory in the upcoming assembly elections, while the BJP candidates are intensifying their election campaign to give both the BRS and the Congress party candidates a tough fight in the upcoming assembly elections, which will be held on November 30.
