Decade long darkness ends in Telangana, says Bhatti
Khammam: Congress leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, who won from Madhira, said the Congress Legislative Party will meet to elect its leader transparently and democratically.
Observing that Telangana had woken to light after 10 years of darkness, Bhatti said the party would make the people a part of the administration and there would be no scope for monarchic tendencies in Indiramma Rajyam. He said the Congress would convert Pragathi Bhavan into a public administrative building.
Bhatti said the people had responded well to the messages of party president Mallikarjun Kharge and senior leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi and voted out the Dorala Telangana and paving way for Prajala Telangana.
He also thanked the Congress cadres and friendly parties and supporters.
He said people of Telangana voted for liberty, brotherhood, Independence and prosperity and added that in the first cabinet meeting itself, a resolution would be passed on Six Guarantees to implement them in the next 100 days.
