Anantapur: There is internal bickering and lack of coordination among TD leaders within Anantapur Lok Sabha area even as YSRC has finalised its candidates even for its assembly segments.
Sources said there is no clarity on offering the seat to Jana Sena, which has demanded at least 10 assembly seats from Rayalaseema region apart from one MP seat.
In the last elections, senior leader J.C. Diwakar Reddy’s son J.C. Pavan Reddy contested on the TD ticket from Anantapur Lok Sabha but faced defeat from YSRC candidate Talari Rangaiah.
Party sources said TD high command is considering Pavan Reddy as candidate from Anantapur Lok Sabha once again following a four-year-long fight that JC family has fought against the YSRC government.
A close aide confirmed that Pavan Reddy will be the candidate from Anantapur Lok Sabha seat.
