Visakhapatnam: State BJP president Somu Veerraju on Sunday visited the Sarada Bakery Ground, where Union home minister Amit Shah is scheduled to address a public meeting on June 8.
Shah’s visit is part of the nationwide tour by senior BJP leaders and Union ministers to mark nine years of BJP-led government’s rule at the centre.
BJP leaders are holding public meetings throughout the country to explain achievements of the Narendra Modi-led government during the past nine years.
As part of it, BJP president J.P. Nadda will address a public meeting in Tirupati on June 10 and explain the achievements of the central government.
State general secretary Vetukuri Suryanarayana Raju, former MLC P.V.N. Madhav, district party president M. Rabindra Reddy and secretary Kasi Viswanadha Raju accompanied Veerraju.
