Opposition Selling Hate in Mohabbat ki Dukan, Says Nadda

Bhopal: BJP national president J P Nadda on Sunday took strong exception to the anti-Hindu remarks by Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin’s son Udayanidhi, saying that the ‘Opposition Bloc, INDIA, has hurt India’s religion, culture and tradition with the attack on Sanatana Dharma by one of its major constituents’.

Kicking off the “Jan Ashirwad Yatra”, a mega mass outreach campaign by BJP ahead of the year-end assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh, at Chitrakoot in the state, Mr Nadda said that he was shocked by Udayanidhi Stalin’s call to eradicate Sanatana Dharma.

“Udayanidhi called for abolishing Sanatana Dharma and likened our religion to Coronavirus, Dengue and Malaria. This is shocking'', he said.

He said that Stalin’s DMK, which is an important constituent of I.N.D.I.A Bloc, attacked Sanatana Dharma.

“The Opposition alliance that met in Mumbai is attacking India’s religion, culture and tradition. Is the anti-Hindu remarks by Udayanidhi part of the political design hatched in Mumbai? Is their politics revolving round finishing off Sanatana Dharma? If the Opposition alliance is going to use anti-Hindu strategy in the upcoming elections?” he asked.

Mr Nadda asked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi if his ‘Mohabbat ki dukan’ has now started selling hatred.

“Rahul Gandhi’s Mohabbat ki dukan (shop of love) has turned out to be ‘nafrat failane wali dukkan’ (shop spreading hatred). Why is hatred being sold in Rahul Gandhi’s Mohabbat ki dukan?” he asked.

Mr Nadda exhorted people to reject the Opposition Bloc in the elections for taking such anti-Hindu stand.

Stalin Junior who is a minister in the Tamil Nadu government has earlier said that Sanatan Dharma cannot merely be opposed but should be abolished.

“Few things cannot be opposed but they should only be abolished. We cannot oppose Dengue, mosquitoes, Malaria, or Corona, we have to eradicate them. In the same way, we have to eradicate Sanatana (Sanatana Dharma). Rather than merely opposing Sanatana, it should be eradicated”, the DMK leader said.

Mr Nadda said that while NDA was working for the development of the country, the Opposition was out to harm the culture of the country.

“Recently some members of the dynastic alliance came together in Mumbai. While we are busy making India a developed nation, this ‘Ghamandia’ (arrogant) alliance is harming our culture and religion”, he said.

Mr Nadda also lashed out at Congress veteran Kamal Nath saying that the latter’s 15-month-rule in the state had broken all records of corruption.

He said that the Kamal Nath government had blocked some key Central schemes launched for the uplift of the poor such as Prime Minister Awas Yojana.

He said that Madhya Pradesh witnessed development after BJP came to power in the state in 2003.

Earlier Mr Nadda performed puja in a local temple before launching the yatra.

Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and state BJP president V D Sharma were present on the occasion.
