Muthalik gets threatening calls, files police complaint
BELAGAVI: Sri Rama Sene founder Pramod Muthalik has filed a complaint at Hukkeri police station after he received threatening calls on Thursday night and Friday morning.
“Yesterday night when I was in Hukkeri, I received threatening calls. The caller was speaking in Urdu mixed with Mangaluru Kannada. He used foul words and threatened to murder me brutally,” Muthalik said.
Of the five calls, Muthalik had received two.
“Along with the phone numbers and all the details, I have filed a complaint at the Hukkeri Police Station today. I want the officials to arrest those behind this. The officials have assured us to look into this,” he said.
Muthalik, however, declared that he would not be scared by such phone calls.
“This is not the first time I have received such threat calls. In the last 10-15 years, I have received many. I am not scared as I have spoken in the interest of the country and as per the constitution. I would like to tell them that they should stop such drama and instead lead a proper life,” Muthalik added.
