HYDERABAD: Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi will campaign in Telangana again after the nomination process ends on November 10. TPCC chief A.Revanth Reddy will cover up to 60 constituencies between November 11 and 28, at three constituencies per day.
The party has hired a helicopter for Revanth Reddy for the campaign.
The Congress has decided to issued the "Minorities Declaration" on November 9 in Nizamabad in the presence of senior leader Salman Kurshid. It will comprise promises, welfare schemes and development programmes to Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Parsis and Jains, that Congress will extend if it is voted to power.
Revanth Reddy said the state party leadership had sent proposals to the high command on the campaign schedule for the Gandhis and was awaiting approval.
He said party president Mallikarjun Kharge, and the CMs of Congress-ruled states will join the campaign after Diwali.
