Bandi Sanjay, Revanth Reddy express mutual admiration

Hyderabad: BJP general secretary Bandi Sanjay on Sunday made special mention of TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy, following the Congress victory in the elections.

Congratulating the Congress and Revanth Reddy, Sanjay said they both had been singled out by former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and targeted by the outgoing government.

This apparently follows the tribute that Revanth Reddy paid Sanjay during a TV event recently.

When he was compared to BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao, Revanth Reddy objected and said, “Don’t compare with KTR. I am from merit quota and he is from management quota plus NRI quota. His father heads a party and has made his son a working president.”

He continued: “I have no objection to comparing myself with Bandi Sanjay as he has struggled to come this far. KTR has no significance and stature and position of his own. I don’t have anything to do with the sons. I am fighting his father. It’s a fight between KCR, BJP and the Congress.”
