Naidu desperate for political ties as he is weak, says YSRC Minister
ANANTAPUR: YSRC Rayalaseema regional coordinator and minister Peddireddy Ramachandra has alleged that Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu is desperate for an electoral alliance and negotiating with multiple parties as he is politically in a weak position.
Referring to reports that Naidu met BJP leaders Amit Shah and J.P. Nadda with a view to forging an alliance, Ramachandra Reddy said, "He is already politically handicapped."
The minister said the YSRC would face the Assembly polls next year without any alliance. “Nothing can impact adversely on Jagan Mohan Reddy and he will have a clean sweep of the polls," Ramachandra Reddy predicted.
He was addressing a public meeting to mark completion of four years of rule of the YSRC, organised by women welfare minister Ushasri Charan at Kalyanadurgam in Anantapur district on Sunday.
The minister said Naidu was again trying to cheat the people of AP with a manifesto of “false” promises. He urged the people of Kalyanadurgam to support minister Ushasri Charan in the coming polls.
