Political parties reacted to the change of guard in the BJP by either saying it was match-fixing between the ruling parties at the Centre and the state, or averred that the change may not resolve the differences though.
BJP attitude to BCs clear: Goud

When Rahul Gandhi said the BRS is the B team of the BJP they raised objections. Replacing Bandi Sanjay with Kishan Reddy and Somu Veerraju with D. Purandareswari makes it clear the BRS and YSRCP have an understanding with the BJP. Rahul Gandhi sensed it early and said that they put up a fight in Telangana but are together at the central level. Will only lead to new conflicts: Kodandaram
This was done to accommodate some leaders who threatened to leave it. The central party took this decision. They said Bandi Sanjay will not be changed. But it was done. Those losing prominence from the Sanjay faction will see this negatively. Etala Rajendar was sought to be accommodated. This happened owing to influx from other parties creating conflict between the old and new entrants. I believe this will create new conflicts. - Prof. M. That is purely their internal matter. However I want to tell all the Bahujans trapped in parties like the BJP, BRS and the Congress that these parties are run by the dominant communities. They will use the BC, SC and STs as curry leaves. Once their job is done they will be dumped in the dustbin. That’s what happened when D. Srinivas brought Congress to glory. YSR dumped him in the rural development ministry. The same thing happened with Damodaram Sanjivayya also. Before Bandi Sanjay, BJP was a sleepy organisation. He brought the party to some level. All of these parties are run by feudal communities. When the time comes there will be a negative campaign against them. They will finally be dumped. Same thing will happen to Etala Rajendar.” - R.S.
