BJP women urge Governor to set Telangana House in order
HYDERABAD: BJP Mahila Morcha urged governor Tamilisai Soundarajan to intervene and render justice to victims in various cases. They alleged that the law and order situation in the state has been deteriorating in the last few months.
Some higher police officials were openly favouring ruling party leaders. Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahila Morcha state president K. Geetha Murthy, vice-president P.Veena Reddy, secretary K. Shyamala and B. Rama Devi submitted a memorandum to the governor on Sunday. They said that the menace of drugs was rising alarmingly in the state and enforcement agencies have failed to prevent it.
They alleged that Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leaders were involved in many sexual assault cases. They demanded ex-gratia to the kin of women who had died during the recent family planning operations in Ibrahimpatnam.
