Hyderabad: Days after Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao announced that he would contest from Kamareddy, the Chief Minister started focussing on the constituency affairs. He is likely to convene a meeting with Kamareddy constituency leaders on September 7 at Pragathi Bhavan.
Speculation is rife that the BJP is planning to field Nizamabad BJP MP D. Arvind from Kamareddy to face Chandrashekar Rao. From the Congress, former minister Shabbir Ali would contest from the constituency.
The Chief Minister has started getting in touch with constituency and mandal level leaders. He is likely to seek information on the political scenario, BRS activities and developments work in Kamareddy.
