BJP predicts Komatireddy win in Munugode
HYDERABAD: BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Wednesday said all poll surveys in Munugode point to a big win for BJP’s candidate Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy. Worried over losing, the TRS is making plans to distribute Rs 30,000 to each voter in order to buy their votes, Sanjay said.
Sanjay, speaking with party leaders involved in the campaign for the bypoll on November 3 in Munugode during a teleconference, also said the TRS was funding the Congress campaign to split anti-government votes. “This is a testing time for all of us. Every one of you should stay put in Munugode till the election is over, and our efforts should be to encourage every voter to turn up for voting, and then cast their ballot for BJP’s lotus symbol,” he said.
The teleconference attendees included the BJP’s election in-charge for Munugode G. Vivek Venkatswamy, senior leaders D. Pradeep Kumar, and Dr G. Manohar Reddy. Sanjay told party workers in Munugode and those joining them for the campaign, to meet every voter at least four times before polling. “We will celebrate the real Dasara and Deepavali after BJP’s victory in the bypoll,” he said.
