CM KCR is trying to appease disgruntled leaders like MLA Rajaiah

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao late on Thursday appointed chairpersons for four corporations. The move is seen as an attempt to quell dissidence in the BRS and to pacify MLAs who were denied tickets.

MLA Thatikonda Rajaiah, who was not renominated from Station Ghanpur, was appointed chairman of the Telangana Rythu Bandhu Samiti. This post is currently held by MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy.

Rajeshwar Reddy is set to be declared as the Jangaon candidate in the place of BRS MLA Muthireddy Yadagiri Reddy.

Yadagiri Reddy has been appointed as TSRTC chairman.

Congress Medchal Malkajgiri district president Nandikanti Sridhar who joined the BRS on Wednesday was appointed chairman of the TS Most Backward Classes Development Corporation. Sridhar had quit the Congress to protest against the decision to allot the Malkajgiri seat to newcomer BRS MLA Mynampally Hanumanth Rao.
