Social media exposes MLC voters having fun in TRS camps

These leaders are staying in hotels and visiting waterfalls, famous temples and other tourist places which can be easily identified

ADILABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) MPTC, ZPTC and councillors who were shifted to various camps to keep their flock together in connection with the elections for MLC under Adilabad local bodies’ quota are said to be having a whale of a time visiting all tourist places and prominent temples in the state and also in the bordering states.

They are posting their photographs on social media and sharing them with their friends making their locations exposed to the public.

The TRS leaders feel that there is no meaning in arranging camps in these circumstances.

Many TRS ZPTC, MPTC and councillors posted their photos near waterfalls and them praying gods at temples they visited as part of their tour on social media.

These leaders are staying in hotels and visiting waterfalls, famous temples and other tourist places which can be easily identified. Family members and political leaders are contacting them when their locations are revealed and reach the areas where cell phone services are available.

In a photo posted on Facebook on Saturday, TRS candidate Dande Vittal is seen posing for photographs with TRS leaders and MPTC and ZPTCs of Komaram Bheem Asifabad district against the background of a waterfall.

Some other leaders posted photos on Facebook that revealed that they had visited the Bhadrachalam and Medaram. It may be mentioned here that Adilabad MLA Jogu Ramanna flagged off a tourist bus in which party voters were being shifted to camps a few days ago.

Some TRS voters who returned to Adilabad from their camps are holding press conferences and appealing to the voters to vote for the ruling party candidate for development of villages and implementation of welfare schemes in the state.

On the other hand, the independent candidate Pendore Pushparani is campaigning without revealing her movements by meeting MLAs and leaders of all political parties including the TRS, the Congress, the BJP and the MIM and appealing to them to vote for her in the erstwhile Adilabad district.

Pushparani said she was contacting MPTCs, ZPTCs and councillors over phone and seeking their votes, being the first Adivasi woman contesting in the elections for the MLC seat. Already, Pushparani started distribution of her model ballot paper among voters and is sharing it on social media.
