BJP Gears Up for Parliament Elections with 'Vijaya Siddhata Sabhe' in Bengaluru
Udupi: In preparation for the fast approaching parliament election, the Bharatiya Janata Party is all set to convene the 'Vijaya Siddhata Sabhe' in Bengaluru on January 8. The event aims to strategize and equip the party for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
With a keen focus on the approaching parliamentary polls, the Karnataka BJP plans to spotlight the developmental initiatives spearheaded by the Modi government while underscoring the perceived shortcomings of the Congress government in the state.
State BJP General Secretary and Karkala MLA V Sunil Kumar addressed reporters in Udupi on Saturday, expressing the party's commitment to a massive campaign for the parliament elections.
"This time we are determined to sweep all 28 seats in the election. The Vijaya Siddhata Sabhe has been convened to devise comprehensive plans to secure triumph in all 28 constituencies," Sunil Kumar said.
He further revealed that the meeting, under the leadership of State President BY Vijayendra, will witness the participation of 54 state leaders. Notable leaders such as National General Secretary Arun Singh and parliamentary board member and former CM BS Yediyurappa will also be present.
The meeting will discuss challenges, solutions, and a strategic plan for the next five months leading up to the elections.
"Our workers are our assets and strength. During the meeting, we will strategize on activating them and effectively communicating the developmental works of Prime Minister Modi to the people," Sunil Kumar added.
Taking a critical stance on the Congress government in Karnataka, Kumar asserted, "The Congress government is nearing its one-year mark in office, and corruption has become synonymous with its administration. Rampant corruption has been observed in transfers.
This government is perceived as being partial to a single community," he alleged.
Describing it as an 'anti-farmer, anti-Kannada, anti-Hindu, and anti-Dalit government,' Kumar pledged to convey this message to the people and expose what he deemed as the true nature of their programs and statements, seemingly favoring only one community.
