KCR reluctant to implement Fasal Bima, says Bandi

HYDERABAD: BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that the first meeting of BRS outside Telangana was an utter flop in Nanded. The people of Maharashtra did not respond to the BRS meeting even though TS ministers and party MPs and MLAs had camped in Nanded for over 25 days, he said. People from undivided Nizamabad and Adilabad districts were mobilised against payment of `500 each by BRS leaders, he said.

The Lok Sabha member contended in a release here on Sunday that some outdated leaders from Maharashtra had joined the BRS and party president and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had returned empty-handed.

As one who never had a woman minister in the first term and not having filled the post of chairperson of women commission, Rao was drawing ridicule for assuring one-third of seats in the Assemblies and Parliament for women, he said.

Except Rythu Bandhu, the BRS government had halted all subsidies to farmers and they are reluctant to implement Fasal Bima. However, Rao was promising to supply fertilizers free of cost, he said.

Sanjay said that Rao was eligible for an Oscar award for his lies. Distressed farmers are staging protests at substations seeking uninterrupted power supply and opposing ACD charges in electricity bills, he said.

Rao has failed to reopen Nizam Sugar Factory, the prices of essential commodities are skyrocketing, and fuel prices have been rising to alarming levels, he said. Maharashtra constructed 15.32 lakh houses under Prime Minister Awas Yojana scheme and implemented Ayushman Bharat scheme, while the BRS government has ignored both schemes.
