Hyderabad: Slogans like ‘Is bar Telangana main BJP ka sarkar’ rent the air as Union minister G. Kishan Reddy, painted the lotus in full bloom on a wall at Gunfoundry to mark the 44th Foundation Day of the party.
As a tradition, Kishan Reddy visits his constituency and draws the party symbol on a wall. Later, he felicitated senior members of the party.
Reddy’s visit rang in a festive spirit with the party cadre showering flowers. The Union minister assured them that soon the BJP would be running the state.
Tracing history the history of the area, he said “Gunfoundry boasts of great history and heritage. Moreover, most BJP leaders have emerged from this place.”
Dr Surekha Om Prakash, local corporator, said, “The minister’s visit will boost the enthusiasm of the cadre. Reddy’s words of encouragement have motivated all of us to work hard and bring BJP to power in Telangana.”
Senior party member Hamenth Kumar Gehlot said, “Atal Behari Vajpayee and other leaders formed the party driven with the mission to make India shine across frontiers and spheres. Under our rule, the nation is marching towards progress in all fields.”
