Anil Yadav seeks arrest of Naidu and Lokesh
Vijayawada: YSR Congress MLA and former minister Anil Kumar Yadav continued the party’s scathing attack on Telugu Desam chief Chandrababu Naidu and sought the arrest of both Naidu and son Nara Lokesh in relation to the Rs 118 crore Amaravati construction scam.
The former minister also sought a probe into the “corruption” during the five years of Chandrababu rule from 2014. Chandrababu indulged in huge corruption in the name of Amaravati capital constructions and the '118 crore payment cited by the Income Tax department has not been shown in the government accounts, he said.
Addressing the media here on Tuesday, Anil Yadav said, “Chandrababu took kickbacks through his PA Pendyala Srinivas. Chandrababu is hiding, he is not talking about the notices given by the IT department.”
The MLA said that in the single year assessment, kickbacks of Rs 118 crore have been received by Chandrababu. The IT department issued notices to Naidu four times, but he is not responding. In the 46- page notice, the name of Nara Lokesh is also mentioned.”
He recalled, “Vasudev Pardasani has revealed everything to the IT department, all about the communication through emails, messages and WhatsApp chats and the code language used in the kickback transactions.”
Attacking Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, the MLA asked, “Why is PK tight-lipped? He always makes noise that everyone should inculcate the habit of questioning. PK must be having a share in the Rs 118 crore kickback.”
MLA Anil Kumar also criticised the left party leaders Kankanala Narayana and K Ramakrishna who were always on their toes to attack the state government. “Why are they silent on the Rs 118 crore kickbacks to Naidu,” he asked.
Anil Yadav, asked BJP state president Daggubati Purandeswari to speak out on the Rs 118 crore scam.
