Chandrababu Naidu training thieves in AP, Says RK Roja
Tirupati: Tourism minister R.K. Roja has lambasted Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu, calling him a “trainer of thieves and dacoits" in Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the Guru Puja Usavam ceremony on Tuesday, Roja said Naidu was the mastermind in training people in the art of looting the state. “ Naidu had extended his training in loot of public money to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan too,” she said.
Comparing Chandrababu to prominent actor and producer Mohan Babu, Roja asserted that while Mohan Babu was the "collection king" in movies, Chandrababu acted as the "collection king in looting the state exchequer."
She asked why there was no discussion within the TD about the Income Tax notices served on to Naidu thrice in connection with the Amaravati constructions scam.
Roja sought a thorough investigation by the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate into the alleged corruption of Chandrababu and his son Lokesh.
The tourism minister alleged that assets worth thousands of crores were unearthed from the residence of Chandrababu’s personal assistant, Srinivas. She called upon Naidu to explain such exposes.
