Ministers call for thumping majority for KCR in Kamareddy
Kamareddy: Ministers Mahmood Ali, V. Srinivas Goud, and senior BRS leader L. Ramana urged their respective community members to support Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao in the ensuing Assembly elections.
“If we give a thumping majority to Rao, who gave utmost importance to BCs and minorities, in Kamareddy, our communities will get more benefits,” they assured.
They advised voters not to get carried away by the false promises of Congress and BJP leaders.
The leaders were addressing separate meetings of minorities, Goud and Padmashali community members in Kamareddy town on Sunday. They said that only a BRS government can assure them of continuous development.
No Chief Minister earmarked reservations for the Goud community in the allotment of wine shops, said Prohibition Minister Srinivas Goud. Rao gave priority to the self-respect and financial stability of the Goud community, he explained.
Ramana said that Rao had asked him to work for the welfare of the Padmashali community, which is benefitting from various welfare schemes.
Home Minister Mahmood Ali explained the minority welfare schemes launched by the BRS government. He said that minorities should vote for BRS to ensure communal harmony and integrated development.
Government whip Gampa Govardhan, handlooms chairman Gudur Prakash, and other senior leaders were present.
