Prajakutami leaders promises bright future for Telangana state
Hyderabad: On the final day of poll campaigning on Wednesday, Prajakutami leaders appealed to the people to vote for the Prajakutami on December 7.
Addressing the media in Hyderabad, AICC president Rahul Gandhi said that the Prajakutami government would be run with the partnership of the people for dynamic development.
He said, “The Prajakutami has two immediate responsibilities regarding Telangana. Taking care of the youth of Telangana is the first thing and creating a promising future for the farmers of the state. I appeal to the people to come vote for Prajakutami to get rid of the dictatorial rule of TRS. The aim of the Prajakutami is to bring down KCR from power in order to save Telangana.”
Denying allegations of TRS leaders against him, AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said that he would not get involved in any matters of the Telangana government. He said, “The TRS leaders are speaking lies about me to rouse the sentiment of the people. The TRS and the BJP are the parties that divide the people for their political benefits. Those parties cannot succeed.”
“Some other leaders said that I have obstructed more than 30 projects in the state. I made some objections on Kaleshwaram and welcomed the Telangana government to talk on the issues. The leaders who made these allegations have to show the letters that I have written to the Centre raising objections. Telangana has an excellent future but the TRS government has spoilt it to the maximum,” Mr Naidu said.
The Prajakutami has criticised the TRS alleging that the arrests in the state were an example of the dictatorial rule of K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Speaking to the media, Telangana Jana Samiti President M. Kodandaram said, “The people of Telangana have fought for a separate state and achieved it. After the government was formed, we all thought that they TRS would work for the people. When we noticed that they were going after personal interest we alerted them. As the situation continued to be the same we also warned them. As a result of questioning them, the police have broken the doors of my house at midnight to arrest me. I have been in jail twice. I urge the people of Telangana to vote for the Prajakutami to save democracy.”
CPI general secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy said, “The state is witnessing dictatorial rule. KCR is working like an agent of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The people should understand the situation and should vote for the Prajakutami to save our own state from dictatorial rulers.”
MRPS chief Mandha Krishna Madiga said, “The TRS has started dictatorial rule in Telangana. The arrest of Congress party working president A Revanth Reddy shows their dictatorial attitude. Earlier, the TRS government had also arrested Kodandaram and Professor Haragopal too. To save democracy in the state and for the SC classification, we have to vote for the Prajakutami.”
