Konda's Bye-Bye Slogan Hints Political Rrivalry
Hyderabad: The video of the newly-elected legislators - Konda Surekha (Warangal East) and Mamidala Yashaswini Reddy (Palakurthy) - saying bye-bye to former BRS MLAs Nannapuneni Narender and Errabelli Dayakar Rao posted on various social media platforms went viral here in erstwhile Warangal district.
It is to be noted here that there has been a political rivalry between the Konda couple Surekha and her husband Konda Muralidhar Rao and Dayakar Rao, Narender for a couple of years. Several incidents of Konda couple clashing against both the BRS MLAs took place in the past and indulged in heated arguments.
In the Assembly elections held in 2018, Konda Surekha contesting from Warangal (East) lost in the hands of Narender while Dayakar Rao registered victories for six consecutive times and was also appointed as panchayat raj minister in the KCR cabinet.
But in the recently held Assembly elections, Konda Surekha contested against Narender and Pradeep Rao, brother of Dayakar Rao, registered thumping victory while Yashaswini gave a shock to Dayakar by defeating him Palakurthy constituency.
It is learnt from the Congress sources that Konda Muralidhar Rao indirectly helped Yashaswini and played his part in putting an end to the political journey of Dayakar Rao who was a MLA for over 30 years.
Surekha and Yashaswini posting a video saying bye-bye to Dayakar Rao and Narender went viral on social media and hints political rivalry between them.
