TD's Kondababu met Jagan for MLC post, says YSRC MLA
Kakinada: Kakinada Urban MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy has lashed out at Telugu Desam leader and former MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao (Kondababu) charging that the latter met Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for MLC’s post recently on behalf of the fishermen community.
“But the YSRC president did not believe Kondababu and the post went to Karri Padmasri of the same community,” the MLA maintained.
The YSRC MLA said unable to bear the corrupt deeds of the TD MLA, people defeated him in the 2019 elections.
Chandrasekhara Reddy went on to accuse Kondababu of even looting the income of temples. He maintained that he has developed many of such temples. Devotees are now happy, he stated.
The Kakinada MLA said he himself is constructing a temple for Lord Venkateswara Swamy at a cost of Rs 4 crore without asking people for any donation.
Chandrasekhara Reddy maintained that the newly proposed bridge across the salt creek will be constructed without acquiring any land or property of people.
