HYDERABAD: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma called on his Telangana counterpart K. Chandrashekar Rao at the Pragati Bhavan on Thursday, with the two leaders holding informal discussions on developmental works and national politics, during the courtesy call.
Sangma, who was in Hyderabad for two days, on Wednesday visited T-Hub to discuss collaborations with Meghalaya and held a meeting with IT minister K.T. Rama Rao. In a post on social media, Sangma said he discussed collaboration to “foster an innovation start-up ecosystem in Meghalaya. With their (Telangana’s) expertise and our government’s commitment, we will work out a model most feasible” for implementation in Meghalaya.
According to the Chief Minister’s Office, during the courtesy call by Sangma, Chandrashekar Rao felicitated him with a shawl and a memento, with the leaders having high tea.
Among those present on the occasion were ministers K.T. Rama Rao, T. Harish Rao and Errabelli Dayakar Rao, MLCs Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and S. Madhusudana Chary, MLA P. Rohit Reddy, planning commission vice chairman B. Vinod Kumar, former Union minister S. Venugopala Chari, and BRS leaders Dasoju Sravan and K. Vamsidhar Rao, among others.
