BRS manifesto will be a \'new pack of lies\', says Revanth

Hyderabad: TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy alleged that the BRS will come out with a 'new pack of lies' in its poll manifesto to fool the people yet again, referring to the comments being made by ministers K.T. Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao would release a manifesto which would blank the Opposition's minds.

"BRS will come to know whose mind will be blanked in the next two months," he said, speaking at an event were BRS MLC Kasireddy Narayana Reddy and leaders of different parties from the undivided Mahabubnagar district joined the Congress in the presence of AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge in New Delhi on Friday.

“The BRS government failed to fulfill its 2014 and 2018 manifesto promises on three-acre land to each Dalit family, Rs 1 lakh crop loan waiver, Rs 3,106 unemployment allowance, filling lakhs of government jobs etc. Who will believe their new manifesto even if they promise the moon," Revanth Reddy asked.

He said that the people had understood that both the BJP and the BRS were like one party. He alleged that they had entered into electoral tie up for the Lok Sabha polls next year. He accused the BJP of shielding the “corrupt BRS government” by accepting “protection money.”

He alleged that the steering wheel of the BJP was in the hands of industrialist Gautam Adani and the steering of the BRS was in the hands of MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi.

He said that Congress former MLA from Kalwakurthy, Vamsi Chand Reddy, had invited BRS MLC Narayana Reddy who hails from the same constituency. “Vamsi expressed his willingness to sacrifice his seat for Kasireddy. I appreciate his decision. Other leaders in Telangana should take Vamsi as an example and come forward to make sacrifices to defeat BRS.”

"Congress is not in power. Despite this BRS MLAs like Mynampally Hanumanth Rao, Rekha Naik and BRS MLCs like Kasireddy came forward to join the Congress to defeat the anti-people BRS government," he added.

Referring to Rama Rao's comments that BRS will fight with its equals in Assembly polls and not with political dwarfs like Congress leaders, Revanth Reddy said, "KTR will realise who will become dwarfs in the next two months."

Revanth Reddy alleged that the Kalvakuntla family members “who looted public money” were “obtaining visas to flee from India after losing the Assembly polls.”
"KCR is shying away from campaigning for his party as he lost face. That's why he roped in KTR and Harish, who are telling more lies like Billa and Ranga," he alleged.
