Gaddam siblings patch-up with Premsagar Rao
Adilabad: In a surprise shot in the arm for the Congress, and a move that will change the political landscape in Mancherial district, its leaders Gaddam Vivek and his brother Vinod made peace with K. Premsagar Rao on Monday. The siblings went to Rao’s house in Mancherial and shook hands with their rival in the hours before the party announced its third list of candidates on Monday.
Vinod is contesting from Bellampalli and Rao’s support is crucial to win the seat. Vivek, who joined the Congress a few days back from the BJP, is likely to contest from Chennur.
It may be recalled that Rao had lobbied for party tickets for his associates in Bellampalli and Chennur.
News is that Vivek took the initiative to bury the differences that he and his brother had with Rao in the changed political scenario. Vivek is keen on Rao’s support to defeat BRS candidate Balka Suman in Chennur.
