Praja Sankalpa Padayatra celebrates 6 years
Visakhapatnam: The Praja Sankalpa Padayatra, the flagship mass contact programme of the ruling YSRC, celebrated its 6th anniversary on Monday. The event was marked by a cake-cutting ceremony at the YSRC office in Visakhapatnam.
Regional coordinator Y.V. Subba Reddy and Visakhapatnam East constituency coordinator and Vizag MP M.V.V. Satyanarayana cut the cake to mark the occasion. District party president Kola Guruvulu, MLAs Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao and Tippala Nagireddy, MLCs Varudu Kalyani and Vamsi Srinivas Yadav, GVMC corporators, and a host of local leaders were present.
Later, Satyanarayana participated in a meeting of volunteers and Grihasaradhis in the 15th ward of GVMC as the chief guest. Ward corporator Appari Srividya Giribabu presided over the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Satyanarayana urged the volunteers and Grihasaradhis to vigorously campaign for the government's welfare schemes by visiting every door in the ward. He also announced the launch of a campaign called "Why AP Needs Jagan" from November 11 to 20. Observer of East constituency Molli Appa Rao and other local leaders were also present at the meeting.
