Premakumari Jadeda to join INCP
Mysuru: Premakumari Jadeda M., who had created a controversy a few years ago by claiming that she had an affair with former BJP minister S.A. Ramdas, on Sunday announced that she would be joining the newly launched Indian New Congress Party (INCP), at Jaganmohan Palace on Monday.
Asked if she would contest against Mr Ramdas in KR Assembly constituency, she said, “The ticket for Mr Ramdas has not yet been finalised, how can I say I will contest against him?. But I have been in Mysuru for 10 years and will contest from here, where people are aware of what I have gone through because of Mr Ramdas,” she said.
Asked if she intended to target Mr Ramdas, she said, “Ramdas wanted to bring me into politics but it did not happen. He could have sat with me, discussed the issues and found an amicable solution. Instead, he has been targeting me. Mr Siddaramaiah (CM) had offered me an MLA seat in the last assembly election, but Mr Ramdas prevented me from contesting. Several political parties have tried to take advantage of the issues I brought up. My issues with Ramdas will be resolved in court,” she said.
