Vijayawada: Former cricketer Ambati Rayudu has shed light on his surprise departure from the YSRC, citing international cricket commitments as the reason. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, Rayudu clarified that his involvement in the upcoming (ILT20) tournament for Mumbai Indians, starting January 20 in Dubai, necessitates political neutrality.
This explanation comes after Rayudu's sudden announcement on Saturday, leaving many puzzled as he simply expressed his intention to "stay out of politics for a little while." Whether he will return to the YSRC fold after the ILT20 concludes remains unconfirmed.
