YSRC Terms Naidu Visionary Copyist
Vijayawada: YSR Congress Medical Wing on Sunday described Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu as a “visionary copyist” for lifting certain elements of the Congress party’s manifestos in Karnataka and Telangana states.
“By doing this, the former chief minister is trying to deceive the people of Andhra Pradesh once again,” the medical wing vice president Dr. Mehboob Shaikh underlined.
He said until yesterday, Naidu had boasted that he is a visionary. But now, he has copied the welfare schemes of others. “He is a visionary copyist,” he remarked.
Dr. Mehboob went on to say that the TDP chief has also copied some of the schemes that YSRC has already been implementing for past 56 months, like ₹1,500 under Amma Vodi to women who send their children to school.
“Naidu has only changed the name to Ammaku / Thalliki Vandanam,” the YSRC medical wing vice president remarked.
He underlined that the best of the copies of self-proclaimed visionary Naidu is the free bus travel already being implemented by the Congress governments in Karnataka and Telangana.
