Hyderabad: BJP Rajya Sabha member Dr K. Laxman, said that just as Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had boycotted Central government programmes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the people of Telangana had also decided to boycott the BRS chief in next the Assembly elections.
Dr Laxman, who is also BJP OBC Morcha president and party parliamentary board member, said that despite differences of opinion, which was common in politics, Chief Ministers Mamata Banerjee of West Bengal, M.K. Stalin of Tamil Nadu and Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of Andhra Pradesh had shared the dais with Modi during his visits to their respective states, he said.
“Why is KCR afraid to share the dais with PM Modi for developmental works,” Dr Laxman questioned.
Dr Laxman said that the BJP would form a “double-engine government” in Telangana soon. People did not believe the lies spreading by BRS government over central funds, he said in a release.
