Another drama by Kapu leader: P Narayana
Amaravati: CRDA vice-chairman and minister for municipal administration P. Narayana alleged that Kapu community leader Mudragada Padmanabham has begun another drama after the arrest of accused in the Tuni arson case.
The minister visited Velagapudi and inspected the works of the temporary Secretariat complex there on Tuesday.
Speaking to mediapersons, Mr. Narayana wondered why Mr. Padmanabham was bjecting the arrest of rowdy sheeters involved in the Tuni arson incident. He said the government would not spare anybody disturbing the law and order.
"Opposing the arrests is unlawful," he said and suggested that the Kapu leader should cooperate with the police department.
Mr. Narayana said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's announcement on providing BC reservation to Kapus was receiving good response. "Unable to digest the growing popularity of Mr Naidu, Mr Padmanabham is making derogatory remarks against the CM." He appealed to the Kapu community not to fall in the trap of Mr. Padmanabham and to maintain peace and to extend cooperation with the officials in the investigation into the Tuni arson case.
