Karimnagar to play key role in KCR's hat-trick
KARIMNAGAR: Karimnagar is a fortress for the BRS and will play a key role in enabling Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao score an unprecedented hat-trick of victories, said BRS working president and minister K.T. Rama Rao on Monday.
From the inception of the TRS in 2001, the people of undivided Karimnagar district area have given their full support to the party and made every programme that it took up a huge success, Rama Rao told a key meeting of key leaders of the district.
He said that recent surveys had showed that the BRS would win comfortably in the undivided Karimnagar district area that has 13 Assembly seats. To ensure that this is done, leaders must do extensive ground work and ensure that the BRS’ opponents will not be in a position to retain their deposits. The Opposition even if it combines cannot give a tough fight to the BRS, he said.
Ministers Gangula Kamalakar, Koppula Eshwar, Planning Board vice-chairman B.Vinod Kumar, MLCs Bhanu Prasad, L. Ramana and P. Kaushik Reddy, MLAs R. Balakishan, Ch. Ramesh Babu, V. Satish Kumar, S. Ravi Shankar, D. Manohar Reddy, Dr S. Sanjay Kumar and K. Chander Patel were present at the meeting.
