Telangana Set to Make History with Inauguration of 9 Medical Colleges: KTR
HYDERABAD: Stating that Telangana would be the first and only state to establish a medical college for every district, minister K.T. Rama Rao on Friday said that the BRS government would create history when Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao inaugurated nine medical colleges simultaneously. Minister T. Harish Rao will participate in the event at Kamareddy.
The new medical colleges will be in Jangaon, Nirmal, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Sircilla, Asifabad, Bhupalpally, Vikarabad, and Khammam districts. The minister directed party activists to hold rallies in the nine towns where the colleges will be inaugurated
"Youth and students should be involved in this program on a large scale so that the benefits of starting a medical college are registered among the people. The establishment of a medical college will not only benefit the students but the hospital attached to it will provide the best health services to the public," Rama Rao said.
