HYDERABAD: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday said the Congress ‘Youth Declaration’ was just old wine in a new bottle aimed at deceiving the youth of Telangana.
BJP spokesperson N.V. Subhash said the declaration released by AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra showed that the Congress was trying to deceive people with a declaration that was full of impracticable promises. “People have already experienced for decades Congress’ appeasement policies aimed at political gain,” Subhash said.
Condemning Priyanka Gandhi’s comment that some parties were doing politics in the name of religion and caste, he said it was the Congress which always followed an appeasement policy to get Muslim votes and never respected the faith of the Hindus.
