BRS and Congress Will Have to Fight for Second Place: Kishan Reddy
Hyderabad: Union minister and BJP state president G. Kishan Reddy on Monday contended that the BRS and the Congress would be competing for the second place as his party is poised for a great victory in the state.
Welcoming the poll notification, Reddy told mediapersons that his party would put up a united fight and come to power. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants the people to defeat the corrupt family rule of K. Chandrashekar Rao and we are confident that it would be possible only by the BJP, he said.
Maintaining that Telangana people had seen the misrule of both Congress and BRS earlier, the BJP chief said the “sakala janula Telangana sakala janula palana”would be a reality after BJP forms the government in December. “There is a silent revolution in the state,” Reddy said.
Meanwhile, BJP election management committee chairman Eatala Rajendar alleged that Chandrashekar Rao has made it the most expensive elections by keeping between Rs 30 crore and Rs 50 crore at the disposal of every BRS candidate. The leaders have been threatening to stop schemes if people don’t vote for them. Rajendar added that BRS leaders were indulging in malpractices with electoral rolls.
