KCR is Jabardasth', Will Come Out with People's Manifesto Soon: KTR

HYDERABAD: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Monday, after the announcement of election dates for Telangana, said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao “is sure to become CM for the third time”, adding that he was working on the people’s manifesto that will be released in a day or two.

Rama Rao was speaking at public meetings organised in Bhupalpally after laying foundation stones for developmental works and inaugurating projects in Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Hanamkonda, Mahbubabad and Jangaon.

Answering a woman’s query about the Chief Minister’s health, at a meeting organised by MLA Gandra Venkataramana Reddy, Rama Rao said that “he is ‘jabardasth (excellent)” and will come into public eye soon with the manifesto.

Coming down heavily on the Congress, Rama Rao said: “Congress is asking people for one chance, but what did they do when people gave them multiple chances in the past? If Congress forms the government, people will start facing problems again. They will say ‘Ram Ram (goodbye)’ to Rythu Bandhu and ‘Jai Bhim (goodbye)’ to Dalit Bandhu.”

“Congress is led by Revanth Reddy, AN accused in the vote for cash case. Now, he is called Rate Reddy, as he is fixing rates for MLA tickets. Earlier, Congress leaders had only one high command, in New Delhi, but now, they have another high command, in Bengaluru.”

He said that the Congress would get moneybags from Karnataka and the BJP would get its moneybags from New Delhi and then “duly sell Telangana to either Adani or Ambani.”

Addressing a massive gathering in Parkal constituency, organised by MLA Challa Dharma Reddy, Rama Rao said: “KCR has credibility. People will believe only such leaders. Within a day or two, the tiger (KCR) will come out and then all these foxes (Opposition leaders) who are pretending to be tigers will go hiding.”

Rama Rao said that the dates of the election, November 30, and counting of votes, December 3, add up to six, which is Chandrashekar Rao’s lucky number. “It has become evident that the BRS is going to form the government for the third consecutive time in the Telangana state and KCR is going to become the CM third time,” he said.

Speaking at a meeting in Thorrur (Mahabubabad) of Palakurthy Assembly segment, organised by panchayat raj minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Rama Rao alleged that the “likes of ‘Gangireddu’ of Sankranti festival”, Opposition parties are coming to Telangana with dollars, referring to Congress’ NRI aspirant H. Jhansi Reddy.

“People should decide whether they need local candidates like Dayakar Rao or NRI candidates who fly away to America after the elections. If they give money, take it, but vote for the BRS,” he said.
