Sachivalayas are Like Temples, Workers are Sevaks, says Botsa
Visakhapatnam: Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana has said Sachivalayas are like temples and its workers the Sevaks of the people.
He was speaking at a meeting held to mark inauguration of the new Sachivalaya building at K Kotapadu in Anakapalli district in the presence of deputy chief minister Budi Mutyala Naidu, regional coordinator Subba Reddy and Anakapalli MP Satyvathi on Sunday.
Botsa said that the Sachivalayas have become the nerve centers of villages and towns, extending relentless services in a transparent manner. The volunteers, secretaries and other staff should be treated like Sevaks for their selfless services reaching up to every home.
“There is a lot to learn from chief minister Jagan Reddy,” said deputy chief minister and Panchayat Raj minister Mutyala Naidu. Jagan Reddy has been impartial in extending services to all sections of the society irrespective of their political affiliations,” he said.
Taking on the Opposition parties, Subba Reddy said the TD leaders exploited the people and looted the government while ignoring the welfare of the people. “Now they are trying to mislead the people with false allegations and promises,’’ he said.
Satyavathi said the entire nation was discussing the welfare activities launched by the YSRC government in Andhra Pradesh.
The ministers inaugurated the Rs 43 lakh worth Sacvhivalaym, the Rs 20 lakh worth health wellness centre, the Rs 24 lakh Rythu Bharosa Kendram and the Rs 41 lakh worth tap connections that would supply water to 353 homes in K Kotapadu village.
The deputy chief minister inaugurated the junior invitation south Karate championship at Pendurthi in the city.
