HC hears petitions on AP’s move not to post GOs on its official website

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh High Court has heard petitions filed against the state government’s move not to keep government orders in its official web portal here on Tuesday.

Petitioners’ lawyer Umesh Chandra submitted to the court that nearly 7,000 GOs failed to be uploaded on the official website, as per affidavit filed by the state government. He argued for uploading the GOs on the official website to enable the people to access them.

The court posted the next hearing in the matter for Nov. 16.
