Hyderabad: In a surprising turn of events, a fierce clash erupted between supporters of the BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi) and Congress parties during the nomination process in Ibrahimpatnam Assembly Constituency.

BRS leaders, including Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao, and Finance Minister T. Harish Rao, have filed nominations for the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections today. BRS MLC K. Kavitha opted for a scooter to reach her nomination center in Bodhan.
BRS dominated the 2018 elections with 88 out of 119 seats and a 47.4% vote share, while the Congress secured only 19 seats. Telangana polls are set for November 30, with results expected on December 3.
