Yamini snubs YSRC leaders for targeting BJP state chief

Vijayawada: BJP leader Sadineni Yamini on Wednesday objected to ruling YSRC leaders targeting their party chief Daggubati Purandeswari.

Speaking to media at the BJP office here, Yamini was particularly critical of YSRC Rajya Sabha member V. Vijayasai Reddy. She accused the MP of trying to tarnish the image of Purandeswari by making baseless allegations.

The BJP leader said they have every right to question Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy over several poor people dying after consuming adulterated liquor and changing names of central schemes, which have been funded by the union government.

Yamini pointed out that Purandeswari had been an MP even before people heard about Vijayasai Reddy. She warned the Rajya Sabha member that he would be taught a befitting lesson if he failed to stop targeting their parry women.
